Bernd Weil

Bernd Weil has a diverse work experience spanning various positions in data management, integration, bioinformatics, and IT. Bernd is currently the Head of Data Management and Integration at Limbach Gruppe SE, a role they have held since October 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Data Management at the same company from January 2019. Bernd also worked as a Data Management Specialist at Limbach Gruppe SE from September 2014 to December 2019. Additionally, Bernd Weil has experience as a Guest Lecturer at the Applied University of Science in Furtwangen, Germany from November 2014 to December 2019. Before that, they were the Head of IT and Bioinformatics at Lifecodexx from July 2012 to July 2013. Bernd held multiple roles at Beckman Coulter Genomics GmbH, including Head of Data Management, Bioinformatics & IT from July 2011 to June 2012, Head of Operations, Bioinformatics and IT from March 2010 to June 2011, Head of Data Management, Bioinformatics & IT from January 2008 to February 2010, Deputy Head of Data Management, Bioinformatics & IT from January 2007 to January 2008, and Bioinformatics Scientist from September 2003 to December 2006. Prior to that, they worked as a Scientist at MediGene AG / Larnax from April 2002 to August 2003, and as a Postdoctoral Researcher in Bioinformatics at Helmholtz Munich from September 1999 to March 2002.

Bernd Weil pursued their education at Johannes Gutenberg – Universität Mainz in Germany. From 1987 to 2000, they studied Molecular Genetics and obtained a Doctor rerum naturalium degree.
