Ross Harper

Founder & CEO at Limbic

Ross Harper has extensive experience in the fields of technology and entrepreneurship. In 2017, they founded and served as CEO of Limbic, a company on a mission to model human psychology. Ross also participated in the EF9 Cohort Member program. In 2016, they were awarded a Bogue Research Fellowship at Emory University and Georgia Institute of Technology, where they applied machine learning to locomotor time series data. From 2013 to 2012, they were Deputy Editor and Director of Guru Magazine Ltd. and founded Wriggle Ltd., an app-development company producing games for iOS and Android. In 2011, they founded BuyMyFace.com, a viral marketing website and Internet art project, and worked as a Sales & Marketing Intern for Chris Croft Training Limited.

Ross Harper has a comprehensive education history. Ross obtained their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Computational Neuroscience from UCL in 2017, after completing a Master of Research - MRes in Mathematical Modelling in Biology from UCL in 2014. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Arts - MA in Natural Sciences (Neuroscience) from the University of Cambridge in 2011, and attended Colfe's School from 2000 to 2008. Ross also holds certifications from Coursera, including Deep Learning Specialisation and Sequence Models, both obtained in October 2018, and Machine Learning (Stanford University), obtained in July 2016.
