Shalyn Tan, CA (M), has an extensive work experience spanning over 10 years. Shalyn is currently working at Lime as a Sr. Manager, Accounting, since March 2023. Prior to Lime, Shalyn worked at Dell Technologies as an Advisor, APJ Statutory and Tax from November 2019 to March 2020. Shalyn also served as a Senior General Ledger Accountant at Tesla from January 2018 to October 2019. Before that, they worked as a Senior Accountant at Luxoft Malaysia Sdn Bhd from October 2017 to January 2018, as a General Ledger Accountant at IHS Global (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd from January 2016 to October 2017, and as a Cost Accountant at Motorola Solutions from December 2013 to January 2016. Shalyn started their career as an Audit Associate at KPMG Malaysia from October 2012 to December 2013 and worked as a Staff Accountant at Kellie S. Menke, CPA, LLC from June 2011 to April 2012. Before pursuing their career in accounting, Shalyn also gained experience working as a Circulation Desk Employee at Linfield University Libraries from September 2009 to May 2011 and as an Audit Assistant at BDO Malaysia (formally known as UHY) from June 2010 to August 2010. Shalyn Tan, CA (M), began their education at SMK (P) Methodist from 2002 to 2006. During this period, they did not obtain any specific degree or field of study. Following that, from 2008 to 2011, they attended INTI International College Penang, where they completed the American Degree Transfer Programme with a focus on Accounting. Additionally, from 2009 to 2011, they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Accounting at Linfield University. Shalyn Tan also holds a certification as a Chartered Accountant from the Malaysian Institute of Accountants.
