Katy Hertel

Katy Hertel is a seasoned professional in leadership development and talent management, currently serving in the Leadership + Inclusion role at Lime since August 2023, where focus is placed on values-driven leadership to drive business impact. Concurrently, Katy holds a position as a Teaching Fellow in Social Innovation Design at the University of Pennsylvania, mentoring students in human-centered innovations. Previous experience includes senior management roles at Gap Inc. and Banana Republic, where initiatives focused on developing inclusive leadership and strategic learning solutions. Initially launching a career in inventory planning at Title Nine, Katy has also represented the USA in rugby, gaining international recognition as a scrumhalf. Educational credentials include an Executive Program for Social Innovation Design from the University of Pennsylvania and a BS in Biochemistry/Molecular Biology and Outdoor Education from the University of Minnesota Duluth.
