Andrea Rother

Andrea Rother has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Andrea has recently worked as the Director of Expansion - New Markets at limehome since July 2023. Prior to that, they served as an Advisory Board Member at XAAN starting in May 2023.

In 2020, Andrea worked as a Guest Lecturer in Hotel Development & Asset Management at SRH Dresden - Ein Campus der SRH Hochschule Berlin. Andrea then joined Choice Hotels EMEA in October 2021 as the Development Director for Central & Eastern Europe until April 2023.

Before that, Andrea had multiple roles at limehome, including Manager and Junior Manager of Business Development / Real Estate Expansion, as well as a Business Development Working Student between August 2019 and September 2021. Andrea also gained experience as a Hotel Acquisitions & Development Intern at Art-Invest Real Estate Management GmbH & Co. KG in 2019.

Additionally, Andrea worked as a Research Assistant at the Chair for Sustainability in Real Estate at IREBS International Real Estate Business School, University of Regensburg from June to December 2018. Andrea also had an internship in Transaction Advisory Services - Hotels at EY from March to May 2018. Prior to that, they were a Trainee in Advisory and Valuation Services at Christie & Co (Business Property) in Germany from April to July 2017.

Andrea began their career at TREUGAST Solutions Group as a Team Assistant in Consulting from November 2016 to March 2017. Overall, Andrea Rother has accumulated a wide range of experiences in the hospitality and real estate industry throughout their career.

Andrea Rother pursued their education in a variety of fields. Andrea completed their Abitur at Dominicus-von-Linprun Gymnasium from 2005 to 2012. In 2013, they attended Hochschule München University of Applied Sciences, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Tourismus Management in 2017. In 2015, they briefly studied Hospitality and Tourism Management at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. From 2017 to 2020, Andrea pursued a Master of Science degree in Real Estate at IRE|BS International Real Estate Business School. In 2023, they attended the Institute for Mergers, Acquisitions and Alliances (IMAA) to specialize in M&A Strategy, Due Diligence, Valuation, and Post Merger Integration, earning the title of International Hospitality Mergers & Acquisitions Expert (IHM&A).
