Rowan Hettel has a diverse work experience across various companies and roles. Rowan started their career at Boeing as a Design/Systems Engineer from August 2006 to August 2009. Rowan then joined Johnson & Johnson as a Staff Engineer in Research and Development from January 2011 to November 2016. Following that, they worked at Dunwoody College of Technology as an Adjunct Lecturer in the Industrial Engineering Department from September 2015 to May 2018.
In 2014, Rowan Hettel also served as an Adjunct Lecturer in the Engineering Department at Citrus College from February 2014 to May 2015. Rowan then transitioned to Boston Scientific as a Principal Engineer in Research and Development from November 2016 to August 2018. Currently, Rowan Hettel holds the position of a Senior Innovation Leader at LimFlow SA since August 2018, and as of January 2022, they have taken on the additional role of Director of R&D Engineering at the same company.
Rowan Hettel graduated from Stanford University in 2006 with a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. In 2009, they obtained a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from UCLA. Additionally, in 2009, Rowan received a Certificate in Project Management from Boston University.
