Aisha Ford

Aisha Ford has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Aisha currently holds the position of Financial Controller at LiNa Energy since January 2023. Prior to this role, they served as the Finance Manager at the same company from April 2021 to February 2023.

Before joining LiNa Energy, Aisha worked at Peel Group Management Limited as a Financial Accountant from July 2017 to April 2021. In this role, they managed a team of management accountants, streamlined month-end procedures, and successfully won external clients.

Prior to their time at Peel Group, Aisha was employed as a Management Accountant at Brazen PR from January 2016 to July 2017. Aisha provided accurate financial reporting to board directors, managed the finance team, and developed a control framework to address high-risk areas.

Aisha also gained experience as a Management Accountant at e-foods from October 2015 to December 2015. In this role, they prepared year-to-date accounts, conducted variance and trend analysis, and performed internal audits to identify areas of risk.

From May 2013 to October 2015, Aisha worked as a Management Accountant at Shred-it, where they prepared monthly management accounts, analyzed variances, and assisted with budgeting and forecasting.

Their earlier career includes roles such as Assistant Accountant at Fairline Financial Ltd from April 2012 to May 2013, and Accounts Assistant at Tui Travel PLC from May 2011 to April 2012, where they also had a 6-month position as a resort accountant in France.

Aisha started their career as an Accounts Clerk at Q Flooring Ltd from June 2008 to May 2011. Aisha demonstrated great initiative in implementing procedures to increase efficiencies within the purchase ledger department.

Throughout their career, Aisha has acquired various skills including financial reporting, team management, process improvement, analysis, and risk identification.

Aisha Ford has pursued their education in the field of accounting and finance. From 2006 to 2007, they completed a BTEC degree in Business and Finance at Trafford College. Following this, they attended Trafford College again from 2007 to 2009, where they obtained a degree in AAT-Technician, further specializing in accounting and finance. Aisha then enrolled in the London School of Business and Finance LSBF from 2016 to 2017 to pursue an ACCA degree at the Fundamental Level. Finally, in 2017, Aisha attended ACCA for the Professional Level, specializing in SBL, SBR, and AAA.
