Kris Barr

Kris Barr has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. They are currently serving as the Operations Director at LiNa Energy, a battery developer. In this role, they oversee the delivery of LiNa's multi-kWh system and manage the Engineering and Facilities team. They are also responsible for manufacturing scale-up plans and increasing cell production in LiNa's pilot plant. Prior to this, Kris worked as the Engineering & Operations Leader and Engineering Team Lead at LiNa Energy.

Before joining LiNa Energy, Kris worked as a Process Engineer at Recipharm in 2020. At Nova Pangaea Technologies, they held the positions of Technical and Project Manager and Process Engineer. They successfully led the design and installation of a superheated steam fast-pyrolysis demonstration reactor and managed the development of P&ID's and support documentation.

Kris Barr completed their A-Levels in Chemistry, Maths, and Physics at Astley Community High School from 2007 to 2012. Kris then pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Chemical Engineering at Teesside University from 2012 to 2016.
