Tom Ketelhut

Tom Ketelhut has a diverse work experience spanning across various roles and companies. Tom began their career at TRW, where they worked as a Senior Product Engineer for almost a decade. During this time, they focused on developing and testing prototype anti-lock brake valves and supporting product launches.

After their tenure at TRW, Tom moved on to Metaldyne, where they held multiple roles. Tom started as a Sr Program Manager/Project Engineer, overseeing product launches and prototype builds for stainless steel fabricated and welded exhaust components. Tom then became the Director of Engineering, responsible for directing a team of 30 individuals and supporting global manufacturing facilities. Finally, they served as the Director of Sales and Engineering, overseeing all product design and development for precision machined and assembled components and modules.

Following their time at Metaldyne, Tom transitioned to self-employment, founding and operating a successful boat refurbishment and detailing business. Tom managed all aspects of the business, including payroll, marketing, commercial negotiations, and customer issue resolution.

Later on, Tom joined Magna Powertrain as the Director of Program Management for the North American division. In this role, they led the program management team, ensuring the successful delivery of all program launches and improving team efficiencies and competencies.

Currently, Tom is associated with Linamar Corporation, where they have held various sales roles. Tom started as Vice President of Sales and later became the VP of Sales for LINAMAR Europe. Tom is currently serving as the Global VP of Sales for Linamar Corporation.

Tom Ketelhut received their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan in 1993. Tom later acquired a Master's (Captain's) License from the United States Coast Guard, specializing in Maritime studies in 2009.
