Ian Simpson

Ian Simpson has a diverse work experience, starting with their current position as the Associate Director of Capital Markets at Linc Housing, where they have been since August 2022. Prior to this role, they worked as an Asset Manager and Financial Analyst at the same company from December 2020 to August 2022.

Before joining Linc Housing, Ian was an Associate Asset Manager, optimizing cash flow and operations for a portfolio of 70 properties, from March 2019 to December 2020. Ian also served as a Jr. Financial Analyst from March 2017 to December 2019, where they managed portfolio databases and assisted with financial audits.

In addition to their experience at Linc Housing, Ian held several internships and part-time positions, including Finance Accounting Intern at DealerSocket, Intern at Toshiba America Medical Systems, Financial Advising Intern at Harding Financial, Delivery Driver at Pizza Hut, Sales Associate/Cashier at PETCO Animal Supplies, Inc., and Assistant Coach at Nellie Gail Tennis Club.

Ian began their work experience in 2009 and has since developed a range of skills and expertise in financial analysis, asset management, and operations optimization.

Ian Simpson attended Villanova University from 2012 to 2016, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Finance and Economics. In addition to their degree, Ian also obtained certifications in Asset Management Specialist from CHAM - Consortium for Housing and Asset Management in June 2021 and Financial Modeling and Valuation Analyst from the Corporate Finance Institute® (CFI) in May 2021.
