Douglas Gadow

Douglas Gadow is a Senior Principal and the Founder of Linchpin Structural Engineering Inc, established in March 2013, specializing in structural engineering consulting across the western United States. In addition to leading Linchpin, Douglas owns Linchpin Bikes, where personal passion for mountain biking is expressed through design and fabrication. Previous experience includes roles as an Affiliated Consultant at Wiss, Janney, Elstner Associates, Inc. and as Principal Structural Engineer at Gary Davis Group, Inc., where Douglas managed and designed various structures in the Lake Tahoe area. Early career includes positions as a Senior Structural Engineer at Wiss, Janney, Elstner Associates, and a Structural Engineer in Training at Magnusson Klemencic Associates, complemented by foundational experience in construction with various general contractors. Douglas holds an MS in Structural Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and a BS in Civil Engineering from Seattle University.
