Rachel Barth, C.M. has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Rachel started their career as a Regional Public Affairs Coordinator/Internship Program at the Muscular Dystrophy Association in 2009. Rachel then worked as a Resource Coordinator at the Alzheimer's Association Nebraska Chapter from 2008 to 2010. Rachel later joined the University of Nebraska-Lincoln as a Graduate Assistant from 2010 to 2012.

In 2012, they transitioned to Cabela's, where they served as a Marketing Analyst for two years. During their time there, they managed marketing programs, evaluated sales, and helped organize retail events. Rachel then moved on to the Nebraska Community Blood Bank, holding roles such as Community Outreach Rep and Marketing and Community Relations Coordinator from 2014 to 2016.

From 2016 to 2019, they worked as a Communications Specialist at the Lincoln Electric System, where they developed strategies and messaging for public outreach initiatives and managed relationships with external agencies. Rachel's most recent role was as the Marketing & Strategy Relations Manager at U.S. Property, where they focused on marketing and strategy relations.

Currently, Rachel serves as the Director of Communications and Customer Engagement at the Lincoln Airport Authority since May 2020. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated their expertise in communications, marketing, and community outreach.

Rachel Barth, C.M. received a Bachelor's degree in Advertising from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2010. Rachel then went on to obtain a Masters Degree in Marketing, Communications, and Advertising from the same university between 2010 and 2012. In addition, they have earned certifications as a Certified Member (CM) from AAAE, CPR & AED from the American Heart Association, and Incident Command System from the Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department, in 2021, 2019, and 2018 respectively.

Lincoln Airport Authority

The Lincoln Airport Authority is a local government entity existing under the Constitution and the laws of the State of Nebraska, including the Nebraska Airport Authorities Act of 1959. The Airport is owned by the City of Lincoln, but the City has given care, custody, and control of the airport to the Authority and the Authority maintains and operates the airport. The Authority is governed by a Board of Directors consisting of five members who are elected by voters of the City. The Airport presently encompasses an area of approximately 5,500 acres and is located approximately five miles northwest of downtown Lincoln. The Authority not only operates the airport, but also a one thousand acre industrial park, consisting mostly of manufacturing and warehousing tenants. The airport has approximately 85 employees including its own police force, as well as customer service, facilities and maintenance, and administrative personnel.
