Dorothea Trufelman

Dorothea Trufelman has a diverse work experience in the field of video production and digital media. Dorothea started their career as a Teaching Assistant at Jacob Burns Film Center in 2011 and worked there until 2014. From 2013 to 2014, they served as a Digital Media Assistant at Tang Teaching Museum. In 2014, they joined the National Museum of Women in the Arts as a Digital Media Intern. In 2015, they worked as a Videography Assistant at Skidmore College. In 2016, they joined the Brooklyn Academy of Music as an Assistant Video Editor and later served as a Video Intern. Since 2019, Dorothea has been associated with the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, initially as a Digital Video Producer and currently as an Associate Director of Video.

Dorothea Trufelman attended Skidmore College, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree with a focus on American Studies and Studio Art. Dorothea then enrolled in a program called Tisch Special Programs at New York University to further their education in Photography. In addition, Dorothea participated in the Washington Semester Program at American University, where they explored Journalism & New Media.
