Shreya Ghoshal

Director Planning And Design at Lincoln Center

Shreya Ghoshal started their work experience as a Collections Intern at the University of Minnesota Archives in 2015. From 2018, they became a Preservation Intern/Citywide Survey Intern at the San Francisco City Planning Department. In 2017, they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture, Planning & Preservation. While there, they provided assistance to Professor Erica Avrami and conducted research on various preservation-related topics. In 2020, they joined the Center for Urban and Racial Equity as a Project Coordinator, where they supported the development and implementation of urban equity research projects. In 2019, they started working at the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, initially as a Project Intern and subsequently taking on roles as a Project Coordinator and Project Manager. Shreya'sresponsibilities at the Lincoln Center included managing construction activities, urban design, and preservation issues. Currently, in 2023, they are serving as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture, Planning & Preservation, co-faculty for Historic Preservation Studios focusing on restorative justice and sustainability in the built environment.

Shreya Ghoshal pursued their education in the field of architecture. Shreya graduated with a Bachelor of Science, Summa Cum Laude, from the University of Minnesota. Later on, they enrolled at Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture, Planning & Preservation, where they obtained a Masters' of Science degree in Urban Planning and Historic Preservation.
