Faiq Amin has worked in the IT field since 2011. Faiq began their career as a Quality Assurance Analyst at Citi Group in 2011. In 2012, they worked as a Dell Field Technician at WorldWide Tech Services. In 2013, they became a Jr. Level System Administrator at SunGard Financial Systems, now part of FIS. Faiq also held concurrent roles at Lincoln Computer Services and Developmental Disabilities Institute (DDI) since 2016, as a Helpdesk Engineer and Senior Desktop Support Analyst, respectively.

Faiq Amin has obtained an Associate's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Suffolk County Community College, and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Business/Managerial Economics from Stony Brook University. Faiq also holds an A+ certification.
