Emil Wilms

Emil Wilms has a diverse work experience in finance and audit roles. Emil started their career as an SAICA Trainee at Meintjes Vermooten & Partners from 2005 to 2007. Emil then worked as an Audit Manager at MVB from 2008 to 2010, where they actively participated in risk assessments and managed referral instructions. Later, they served as a Financial Manager at Stratcorp Ltd from 2010 to 2012, where they controlled all financial aspects of the business and provided decision support. From 2012 to 2016, Emil worked at Lincoln Electric, first as a Finance Manager for the Sub Sahara Africa region, ensuring compliance with accounting practices and developing an effective internal control environment. Later, they became the Finance Director for the Middle East & Africa region, overseeing a $100M sales budget and leading the integration of an acquisition.

Emil Wilms has a degree in Chartered Accountancy from ACCA. Emil also has a B.Comp Honours in CTA with a field of study in Accounting, Taxation, Auditing, and Financial Management from the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika. Additionally, they hold a B.Com (Acc) degree from the University of Pretoria.
