Michelle Butler

Michelle Butler is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in environment, health, safety, and sustainability. Currently serving as the VP of Environment, Health, Safety and Sustainability at Lincoln Electric since April 2022, Michelle previously held roles at Wabtec Corporation, including Sr. Sustainability Manager and EHS Regional Leader for the Americas from July 2019 to April 2022. Prior experience includes the position of EHS Growth and Sustainability Leader at GE Transportation, and prior to that, serving as a Sr. Pollution Prevention Engineer and Assistant Research Faculty at the Rochester Institute of Technology. Michelle's career also includes a role as EHS Director of Worldwide Product Stewardship at Eastman Kodak. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Chemical and Environmental Engineering from the University of Michigan, an MS in Environmental Engineering from Stanford University, and a BS in Chemical Engineering from Howard University.
