Megan Ross

Megan Ross is currently the President and Chief Executive Officer at Lincoln Park Zoo. Prior to their current position, they served as Zoo Director, Executive Vice President, Senior Vice President, Vice President of Animal Care and Education, Vice President of Animal Care, General Curator, and Hope B. McCormick Curator of Birds at Lincoln Park Zoo for 22 years and 7 months. Ross also held a joint position as a Research Assistant with Zoo Atlanta and the Georgia Institute of Technology for 3 years and 1 month. Additionally, Ross served as a Research Assistant at Chengdu Zoo and Chengdu Base for Giant Panda Research & Breeding for 7 months.

Megan Ross has a PhD in Psychology from the Georgia Institute of Technology, where their dissertation was on "The Effects of Ultraviolet Light on Bird Behavior." Megan also has an MS in Psychology from the Georgia Institute of Technology, with a thesis on "Pairing Behavior of Captive Chilean Flamingos as a Function of Separation Methods." Megan has a degree in Biology and Psychology from James Madison University.
