Terrance Bruggeman

Terrance Bruggeman serves as the Executive Chairman and former CEO of Avenzoar Pharmaceuticals, Inc., focusing on drug development for pancreatic and ovarian cancers since February 2016. In addition to this role, Bruggeman is a Trustee and former Chairman of The Lincoln Park Zoological Society, a board member of the Nashville Zoo, and a business mentor for The Honor Foundation. Bruggeman contributes as an advisory board member for The Nonprofit Institute at the University of San Diego and has a history of leadership in pro-bono mentoring through The Chairmen's RoundTable. Previous board experience includes involvement with Benefunder and Biocom, a trade association for the Life Sciences industry in Southern California. Bruggeman also held the position of Executive Chairman at BioTork and Evolugate LLC, specializing in industrial biotechnology, and contributed to Cal State San Marcos as a member and former chair of the College of Business Administration Advisory Board. Educational qualifications include a BA from the University of Notre Dame, two MBAs from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and the University of Chicago.
