Sofia Diaz

Sofia Diaz is an experienced AuDHD & PDA mentor working with adults on motivation and skill development since May 2025. As a Literacy and Math Intervention Tutor at Lindamood-Bell Learning Processes, Sofia engages K-12 students through tailored lesson plans and interactive activities. Previous roles include serving as a Special Education Paraprofessional at Brighton Area Schools, an IEP Quality Intern at Michigan State University, and a Bilingual Kindergarten Classroom Aide at El Sol Elementary. Other experience encompasses health assistance at Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp, neuroscience research at the University of Michigan, and child caregiving at Lyon's Trail Child Care. Sofia holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Kalamazoo College, with a focus on Neuroscience and Intersectionally Trauma-Informed Child Development, and pursued post-baccalaureate prerequisites for Occupational Therapy graduate school at Washtenaw Community College. Additionally, Sofia studied abroad in Spain at Universidad de Extremadura.
