Consultant Khushboo Rami-Patel brings to Lindauer and our clients over 10 years of experience. Khushboo began her career at the Center for American Progress (CAP), a public policy, research, and advocacy organization in Washington, D.C. At CAP she was responsible for training and managing volunteers, staffing political events, producing and managing a notable conference and fundraiser, and the planning and execution of a successful lobbying effort for student debt on Capitol Hill.
Khushboo also served as Associate Director, Major Gifts & Special Events as part of the leadership staff at the American Diabetes Association (ADA). At ADA she implemented a cultivation and stewardship strategy for a portfolio of 100 current and prospective donors and planned and oversaw the logistics of one of its annual awards ceremonies, along with the management of four C-suite volunteers who together raised $1.2 million.
Most recently, as Director of Major Gifts at the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago, Khushboo created and executed a cultivation and stewardship strategy for a portfolio of 75 current and prospective donors and identified an additional 50–75 prospective donors each fiscal year for project-specific gifts up to the seven-figure range. She was also responsible for creating an inaugural two-year fundraising strategy for unrestricted and restricted annual support from the Board of Trustees, resulting in $8.1 million toward a $6 million goal in FY17 and FY18, which was in progress for FY19 and FY20.
Her expertise as an advancement professional, including in research, donor cultivation, stewardship, strategic planning, events, and client relations, positions her to support critical search and talent needs among the firm’s broad range of clients.
Khushboo holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Bachelor of Arts in Communications Studies from the University of Michigan.
