Matthew Quenby

Matthew Quenby has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Matthew started their career as a Store Manager at Primark Stores Limited and quickly progressed through the management training scheme. Matthew then worked as a Temps Controller at Protemp Recruitment and as a Branch Manager at Esprit People.

In 2000, they joined Solutions (Barnsley) Ltd as a Manager before moving on to The Best Connection as a Divisional Manager in 2003.

In 2006, Matthew joined ATS Euromaster, where they held various roles including Divisional Account Manager, Regional Sales Manager, Head of Business Development, and Head of Commercial Sales. Matthew was responsible for managing sales teams, developing new business strategies, and delivering profitable growth.

Matthew'smost recent work experience includes positions at Linde Material Handling UK and Linde Material Handling. At Linde Material Handling UK, they served as a Sales Director and a Director of Business and Sales Development, where they were responsible for driving sales performance and growth. Matthew also served as an Interim Sales Director - Ireland, where they implemented sales processes and procedures to create the foundations for sustainable growth.

In their current role as Director of Sales Steering UK & IRL at Linde Material Handling UK, Matthew is part of the UK Linde Leadership team and responsible for driving profitable growth for the Linde brand in the UK and Ireland. Matthew is also part of the EMEA core team for Sales Steering, where sales strategy and tactics are discussed before implementation across Europe and beyond.

Throughout their career, Matthew has demonstrated strong leadership skills, the ability to drive sales performance, and a commitment to delivering sustainable growth.

Matthew Quenby completed their education at various institutions. Matthew first attended Boston Grammar School from 1983 to 1988 for their secondary education. Following this, they pursued A levels in Business Studies at Boston College of FE from 1988 to 1990. In 1990-1991, Matthew enrolled at the University of Bedfordshire, where they studied Business Studies without earning a degree. Lastly, they attended De Montfort University from 2015 to 2018, where they obtained a BA Honours Degree in Management.
