Mr. Nelson is a veteran healthcare executive who spent over 30 years in both the services and medical device sectors. From 2007 to 2017, he served as Chief Executive Officer of Healogics (formerly Diversified Clinical Services). Prior to Healogics, Mr. Nelson served as President of the cardiovascular division of Thoratec Corporation from 2002 to 2007. He spent eight years at Philips Medical Systems (formerly ADAC Laboratories) as General Manager of its nuclear medicine division. He also served as a Senior Vice President of North American sales and General Manager of ADAC Radiology Solutions. In earlier roles, Mr. Nelson served as a Marketing Manager of Syncor International Corporation and as an Associate at Cerulean Venture Fund. Mr. Nelson started his career in sales with American Hospital Supply.
Mr. Nelson serves as the Executive Chairman of Linden portfolio companies Collagen Matrix and Pinnacle Treatment Centers. Mr. Nelson sits on the Board of Governors of the Packard Center for ALS Research at Johns Hopkins University. He previously served on the Boards of Directors of Dimensional Dental Management and CarePoint Partners Holdings. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Math and Economics from Brown University and a Master of Management from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
