Andrew Simms has a long history of work experience. From 2000 to 2005, they worked at Tencent as a Backend Development Engineer, responsible for the development and maintenance of the company's website, implementation of the website, testing, and maintenance and upgrading of the existing website. From 2005 to 2010, they worked at Linden Lab in various roles, including Metaverse Senior Engineering Manager, Senior Engineering Manager, Engineering Manager, and Team Lead, Extraction, as well as Software Engineer. In 2010, they became an Angel Investor.

Andrew Simms completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering and Science from Zhengzhou University between 1996 and 2000. andrew then went on to pursue a Master of Computer Applications - MCA from Tulane University between 2002 and 2005, with a major in Mathematics and Computational Finance.
