Bernie L.

Bernie L. has worked in the tech industry since 2000. At Tencent, they were a Backend Development Engineer, responsible for the development and maintenance of the company's website, implementation, testing, and maintenance and upgrading of the existing website. In 2008, they joined Linden Lab, where they have held various roles, including Metaverse Senior Engineering Manager, Senior Engineering Manager, and Team Lead, Extraction. In this role, they worked with their team to develop golang REST apis that solve the needs of Second Life and Sansar and created a stakeholders meeting to help keep various internal stakeholders apprised of progress and priorities. Bernie also held the role of Software Engineer at Linden Lab.

Bernie L. attended Xiamen University from 1996 to 2000, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering and Science. Bernie then attended Columbia University from 2004 to 2006, where they earned a Master of Computer Applications - MCA, with a major in Mathematics and Computational Finance.
