Jack L.

Jack L. has worked in the tech industry for the past 20 years. Jack began their career in 2000 as a Backend Development Engineer at Tencent, where they were responsible for the development and maintenance of the company's website, implementation, testing, and maintenance and upgrading of the existing website. In 2008, Jack moved to Linden Lab, where they have held the roles of Metaverse Senior Engineering Manager, Senior Engineering Manager, and Team Lead, Extraction. In their role as Team Lead, Extraction, Jack worked with their team to develop golang REST apis that solve the needs of Second Life and Sansar, and created a stakeholders meeting to help keep various internal stakeholders apprised of progress and priorities. Jack also held the role of Software Engineer at Linden Lab.

Jack L. completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering and Science from Xiamen University between 1996 and 2000. Jack then went on to pursue a Master of Computer Applications - MCA from Columbia University, majoring in Mathematics and Computational Finance, between 2004 and 2006.
