Praveen S.

Praveen S. has a long and varied work experience. Praveen began their career in 2000 as a freelance technology consultant, providing services to a variety of clients. In 2004, they took on the role of Security Analyst at the Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco. In 2005, they worked as a Systems Development Lead at Powerlinx and as a Consultant at Network Appliance. Praveen also worked as a Web 2.0 Consultant at Festivalpreview.com in 2008. That same year, they took on the role of Senior Software Engineer at Linden Lab and became a Member at Noisebridge, where they participated in a Machine Learning study group and presented introductory workshops on learning techniques with Neural Networks, Support Vector Machines, and Hidden Markov Models. Praveen also developed an Arduino-based galvanic skin resistance reader. In 2012, they became a Board Member at Oakland Makerspace and a Trustee at The Awesome Foundation. Most recently, in 2017, they were appointed Director of Technology at Stealth Mode.

Praveen S. is currently enrolled at The University of New Mexico, studying computer science.
