Zhon Chen

Zhon Chen has had a long and successful career in software engineering. In 2000, they began working as a Backend Development Engineer for \u817e\u8baf. In this role, they were responsible for the development and maintenance of the company's website, the implementation of the website, and the maintenance and upgrading of the existing website. In 2004, they joined Linden Lab as a Software Engineer. Zhon then advanced to Team Lead, Extraction, where they worked with their team to develop golang REST apis that solve the needs of Second Life and Sansar. Zhon then became an Engineering Manager, where they helped launch Tilia, Inc as a business and maintained communication with internal stakeholders. Finally, they became a Senior Engineering Manager and Metaverse Senior Engineering Manager, where they developed a platform that enabled people to create, share and evolve in virtual experiences.

Zhon Chen attended Xiamen University from 1995 to 1999, where they studied Computer Engineering and Science. Zhon then went on to obtain a Master of Computer Applications - MCA from Boston University in 2004, with a Major in Mathematics and Computational Finance.
