In their previous role at Lindsay Construction, they worked as the Senior Manager of Strategic Financial Planning & Analysis from September 2020 to July 2022.
Before their time at Lindsay Construction, John worked at KPMG from 2014 to 2020, where they held various positions. John started as a Staff Accountant/Consultant from January 2012 to April 2012 and later returned to KPMG in October 2014 as a Staff Accountant/Consultant. John was promoted to the role of Senior Accountant in October 2016 and later became a Manager in October 2019.
In 2013, John briefly worked as an Internal Auditor at Emera.
Additionally, John gained experience as an Accounting Student at Homburg in 2012.

John completed their Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree with a specialization in Accounting at Dalhousie University from 2010 to 2014. Following that, they further enhanced their professional qualifications by completing the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada) program from 2014 to 2016.
