Deborah Bitterfield

Deborah Bitterfield has worked in a variety of roles in the fields of science and engineering. From 2017 to present, they have been the CEO & Founder of Lindy Biosciences, Inc. From 2011 to 2017, they were a Senior Scientist and Senior Engineer at Southeast TechInventures, Inc. (STI). Prior to that, from 2001 to 2011, they were the Program Coordinator for the Program on Values & Ethics in the Marketplace at Duke University.

Deborah Bitterfield received their PhD in Materials Science from Duke University in 2011, having attended the university from 2005-2011. Prior to that, they received their BA in Classics & Philosophy from Drew University in 2001, having attended the university from 1997-2001.
