So Young Kim has extensive work experience in various companies. SO YOUNG started their career as an Assistant Administrator in the HR Team at Microsoft Korea in 2001. SO YOUNG then worked as an HR Specialist in the Human Resources Division at Sony Korea from 2003 to 2007. From 2007 to 2016, they held multiple roles at NAVER Corp, including Assistant Manager of Training & Developing, Manager of Strategy HR Planning, Senior Manager of HR Planning, and Senior Marketer of Culture Experience. In 2016, they joined Kakao Corp as the Managing Director of Kakao Makers. Currently, they are working as the Lead of Corporate Cultural Branding at LINE Plus Corp since 2018.

So Young Kim attended Korea University from 1997 to 2002, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts and Education. SO YOUNG'sfields of study included English, English Literature, and Home Economics Education.
