Kaisa Karjalainen has extensive work experience in marketing and management roles. Kaisa currently serves as the CMO at Linear since August 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Kotipizza Group Oyj for seven years, starting as a Marketing Manager in October 2013 and later becoming the Marketing Director in June 2017. Kaisa'sresponsibilities included developing marketing strategies, conducting research, and implementing marketing initiatives for the nationwide chain of approximately 280 restaurants. Kaisa played a significant role in rebranding Kotipizza from a fast-food chain to a sustainable fast-casual operator. During their time at Kotipizza, they also established a strong content production culture focused on authenticity and content marketing.
Before joining Kotipizza, Kaisa worked as a Marketing Manager at Kiinteistömaailma from March 2010 to August 2013. Kaisa was responsible for the overall marketing of the real estate chain, including digital media, online services, and customer loyalty program development. Kaisa also served as the editor-in-chief of the customer magazine and played a crucial role in creating and launching a new transaction method called Tarjouskauppa.

Kaisa Karjalainen has a diverse education history. In 1992, they completed their high school education at Saarijärven lukio, earning their Ylioppilas degree. In 1994, they attended Vaasan kauppaoppilaitos, where they pursued a field of study in Markkinointimerkonomi, yo. Kaisa continued their education at the Markkinointi-instituutti from 1999 to 2002, specializing in Mainonnan ja markkinointiviestinnän suunnittelija (MAT). In 2010, they obtained an LKV-tutkinto from the Keskuskauppakamari in the field of Real Estate. Kaisa then enrolled at the University of Helsinki in 2018 to pursue a course on Elements of AI, tekoälyn perusteet.
