Vivien Levy-Garboua

A graduate of the École Polytechnique and holder of a PhD in economics from Harvard University, Vivien Levy-Garboua was Rapporteur of the Energy Commission and the French government's Eighth Development Plan. He joined BNP in 1980, where he held a series of executive positions, including Organisational Director. He then headed Asset Management, Insurance and International Private Banking (Asset Management & Services Division). In 2005, he was appointed Head of Compliance and Internal Control Coordinator and Member of the Executive Committee of BNP Paribas, and from 2008 to 2014 he served as Senior Advisor. He is the author of numerous works on economics, including “Macropsychoanalysis: The Economics of the Subconscious”, published in French in 2007.
