David Westbrook

David Westbrook has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. David started their career as a Milieu Counselor at Alternative Homes for Youth, where they provided support for older adolescents. David then worked as an Instructor and Course Director at Outward Bound USA, where they supported and challenged students in developing leadership skills and self-exploration.

David also worked as a Case Manager at Denver Area Youth Services, where they provided case management services to pre-adjudicated youth. David later joined The Oregon Partnership, Inc. as a Crisislines Director, where they provided leadership and inspiration to staff and volunteers.

In 1998, David worked as a Research Associate at Ugandan Human Rights Education, conducting field research on human rights in Uganda and producing widely cited reports. David then moved on to Portland State University, where they worked as an Instructor in the Graduate School of Conflict Resolution, teaching courses on global inequality and conflict resolution.
