Honetta Kao

Honetta Kao has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Honetta started their career as a Senior Loan Advisor at American Home Loans in 2004, where they built relationships with borrowers and conducted outbound calls for loan refinancing and new home loans. Honetta then moved on to Buckman Buckman & Reid, where they worked as a Senior Sales Trader, developing sales strategies and managing investment portfolios for clients.

In 2020, Honetta joined RESIDE Worldwide, Inc. as an Enterprise Sales Development representative, representing the company's products and services and conducting outbound campaigns to generate new meetings and identify key decision-makers. Honetta also worked as an Enterprise Sales Development representative at GDS Group from 2021 to 2022, actively researching and building new sales leads and opportunities for senior business development executives.

Honetta gained additional experience in sales and business development as a Science-Based Sales Certified Alumni at preHIRED, where they focused on prospection and qualification of sales leads. Honetta also worked as an Enterprise Sales Development representative at LineSlip Solutions from 2022 to 2023, utilizing AI and Machine Learning to automate tasks and extract and structure insurance data for commercial insurance brokers.

Honetta has also worked as an FX Trader at AudaCity Capital Management and Maverick Trading, where they developed trading strategies, managed currency positions, and executed trades based on technical and fundamental analysis. Additionally, they served as a Security Supervisor at Allied Universal, managing a team of security officers and providing concierge services to VIPs and executives at Google NYC Chelsea Campus.

Honetta Kao attended Borough of Manhattan Community College, where they studied Accounting and Business/Management. Honetta obtained additional certifications in various areas such as Foundations of CyberSecurity from Google in May 2023, Cloud Computing with IBM Bluemix from LinkedIn in December 2021, and Science-Based Sales® Member from Prehired in October 2020. Honetta also obtained several certifications from IBM and LinkedIn in different areas such as Cloud Private Foundation Technology, DevOps Foundations, IoT Foundations, and Professional Skills.
