Saunil Hagler

Saunil Hagler has a diverse work experience that spans over a decade. Saunil started their career in education as a Science and Biology Teacher at Birkenhead College in 2003. Saunil then transitioned to Albany Junior High School in 2010, where they worked as a Teacher and eLearning Coordinator until 2014.

In 2013, Saunil also served as the Managing Director of CloudPal Limited, where they focused on developing and delivering professional development programs in e-learning for teachers and business employees.

From 2014 to 2018, Saunil joined Cyclone Computer Company Limited, initially as a Digital Learning Specialist, facilitating e-learning engagement in New Zealand schools. Later, they became an Education Account Manager, supporting education organizations in making technology-related decisions to enhance learning outcomes. During their time at Cyclone, Saunil also took on the role of Google Education BDM, raising awareness about Google for Education and helping schools implement effective eLearning systems.

Since 2018, Saunil has been working at Linewize ANZ as the NZ Education Director. In this role, they lead a team in helping schools and communities keep children safe and focused online by utilizing Linewize by Family Zone's internet monitoring and filtering tools. Additionally, Saunil empowers families to actively participate in protecting their children online.

Saunil Hagler has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology from The University of Auckland, which was obtained from 1997 to 2001. In 2002, Saunil completed a Diploma of Teaching (Secondary) from The University of Auckland. In 2013 to 2014, Saunil attended Massey University to obtain a Postgraduate Diploma of Education (E-Learning endorsement). Additionally, Saunil obtained a certification as a Google Education Trainer from Google Inc. in 2015.
