Dr. Sam Jennings II

Dr. Sam Jennings II has extensive experience in leadership development, coaching, and education. Dr. Sam currently serves as a Leadership Strategist, Owner, and Managing Director at 360 Clarity, where they consult with large corporations to design and deliver custom leadership development programs. In this role, they have engaged with over 60 coaching clients and delivered Cultural Competency training.

Dr. Jennings also works as a Leadership Development Coach at Lingo Live, where they empower leaders in the tech industry, focusing on their strengths, continuous improvement, and serving their teams. Additionally, they co-host the No More Leadership BS Podcast, which aims to expose the gap between leaders' perceptions and effective leadership practices.

In the academic field, Dr. Jennings has served as an Adjunct Faculty member at Upper Iowa University and as a Faculty Instructor at the American Public University System. Dr. Sam has also held various positions at Northwest Missouri State University, including Director of Student Development, Leadership Program Manager, and Area Coordinator for Residence Life. During their tenure at Northwest Missouri State University, they contributed to the management of a significant budget, played a key role in the creation of a master's degree program, and oversaw student facilities and staff.

Prior to these roles, Dr. Jennings served as Dean of Students at South Dakota State University and as a Residence Life Hall Director at Lewis & Clark College.

Dr. Sam Jennings II holds a Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration from Capella University. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Educational Policy, Foundation and Administration with a focus on Higher Education from Portland State University. Dr. Jennings' undergraduate education includes a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mathematics from Lewis-Clark State College, which they completed between the years 1992 and 1996.

In addition to their formal education, Dr. Jennings has also acquired various certifications. Dr. Sam obtained an Executive and Leadership Coach Certification from the Academy of Creative Coaching in March 2022. In December 2020, they obtained a MAPS Business Coaching Certification from MAPS Business Coaching. Dr. Sam is an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) recognized by the International Coaching Federation since June 2022. Dr. Jennings also holds an Associate Professional in Human Resources (aPHR) certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI, which they obtained in February 2020. Dr. Sam is a member of the International Coaching Federation since May 2021. Additionally, they have certifications in the 12 Driving Forces and DISC methodologies from TTI Success Insights, which they obtained in August 2020 and June 2020, respectively.
