James Dunlop

James Dunlop has over 15 years of work experience. James began their career in 2006 as a Scientific Officer for the Ministry of Defence. In 2009, they moved to Summer Films as a Development Researcher, where they worked with the development team on concepts for TV shows and helped with pre-production for TV shows. In 2010, they joined 3angrymen Productions Ltd as a Producer/Director & Head of Production. In this role, they were responsible for pre-production, production, and post-production tasks. James also worked as a self-shooting Producer/Director, planning and running shoots, and performing camera, lighting, and sound recording duties. In 2014, they began freelancing as a Producer/Director, with experience on over 200 projects. In 2016, they joined Accelerate Digital as a Producer/Director & Head of Content, where they were responsible for producing and directing film, animation, and photography projects, working with clients to develop video content strategies, and collaborating with the Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), Web Development, and Design teams. In 2019, they joined Rocking Horse Pictures as a Producer. In 2020, they began freelancing again as a Producer/Director. Currently, they are the Head of Studio at Lingumi.

James Dunlop attended Newcastle University from 2001 to 2005 where they earned a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Mechanical Engineering & Design.
