Joel Hepola

Joel Hepola has worked as a Test Engineer at Link Engineering Company since February 2016. Prior to that, they served as a Captain/Dispatcher at J.W. Westcott Co. from April 2006 to 2016. In this role, they conducted deliveries of goods and persons to deep draft vessels in the Detroit River through the use of mail boat J.W. Westcott II and pilot boat Huron Maid.

Joel Hepola completed their Bachelor of Science in Engineering (BSE) degree with a dual major in Bioengineering and Mechanical Engineering at the University of Michigan-Dearborn. Joel attended this institution from 2013 to 2015. Later, Joel pursued their Master of Science (MS) degree in Mechanical Engineering at the same university, starting in 2017 and concluding in 2019.
