Steve Brotherton

Steve Brotherton is a seasoned professional in risk management with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as Group Risk Director at Link Financial Group since October 2023, Brotherton previously held the position of Director of Risk and Assurance at UK Finance from April 2022 to September 2023. Prior to that, Brotherton was Director of Risk and Compliance at H&T Group plc from April 2017 to March 2022, and acted as a Risk Consultant at Legal & General Investment Management between November 2015 and March 2017. Earlier roles include Head of Operational Risk (Finance) and Senior Audit Manager at Legal & General from August 2011 to November 2015, and Audit Manager at Deloitte from October 2004 to August 2011. Brotherton holds a Master of Chemistry degree from the University of Oxford, completed from 1998 to 2002.
