Heng Tang

Heng (Joe) Tang is a skilled software engineer with expertise in privacy-preserving technologies and security systems. Currently serving as a Staff Software Engineer at LinkedIn since December 2021, Joe focuses on privacy-preserving ads measurement and on-device learning. Prior to this, Joe held multiple security engineering roles at Visa from February 2017 to November 2021, including Sr. Staff Security Engineer, where leadership was provided for the Visa identity Behavior Analytics platform. Joe's experience also includes roles as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Georgia Institute of Technology, Security Architect Intern at Visa, and Software Engineer at Lively Impact Technology Limited. Joe earned a Master of Science in Information Security from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
