Melanie Yencken

Melanie Yencken is an accomplished design leader with extensive experience in product design and user experience. Currently serving as Senior Director of Product Design for Growth & Premium at LinkedIn since August 2023, Melanie previously held significant roles at Google, including UX Director and UX Design Lead for Google My Business, where leadership spanned multiple global teams. With a strong foundation as the Founder and Advisor of LondonTechLadies, a group fostering connections for women in technology, Melanie's earlier positions include Director of UX/Product Design at PatSnap, User Experience Director at Schibsted Media Group, and Design Team Leader at Gumtree.com. Melanie's career also encompasses roles at Sponge Ltd and Square Circle Triangle, along with freelancing in graphic and digital design, contributing to a diverse portfolio in branding, responsive sites, and mobile applications. Educated at Monash University in Visual Communication, Melanie also holds certifications in Website Design and Digital Design from Grenadi School of Design.
