Oana Popescu

Oana Popescu (Savescu) is an experienced professional with a robust background in linguistics and education. Currently serving as a Data Annotator at LinkedIn since March 2024, Oana focuses on data annotation and evaluation for the enhancement of LinkedIn products. Oana has previously worked as an Engineering Linguist at LinkedIn and holds significant teaching roles, including ESL Instructor at The New School and Part-Time Language Lecturer at New York University and Columbia University. Oana has developed various instructional materials across multiple disciplines and has engaged in linguistic data tasks at TELUS and educational assessment at Educational Testing Service. Oana holds a PhD in Linguistics from New York University and both an MA and a BA from the University of Bucharest.
