Song Lu

Song Lu is an accomplished software engineering professional with extensive experience in leading teams and managing critical infrastructure projects. Currently serving as a Software Engineering Manager at LinkedIn since October 2017, Song Lu leads the Venice team, which focuses on asynchronous data serving, and previously directed the productivity team at Espresso, enhancing LinkedIn’s data services. Prior to LinkedIn, Song Lu held positions at Pinterest, Silver Spring Networks, VeriSign, IBM, Iowa State University, Lucent Technologies, and ASAP Drug Solutions, contributing to significant projects including campaign management system improvements and performance metrics development. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Computer Engineering from Iowa State University and additional degrees in Computer Science and Engineering, and Electronic Component and Material from Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
