Ryan Hua Zhang has a diverse background in technology and medical fields. Ryan Hua founded Linking Med Inc. in 2016 and previously served as CTO and Co-Founder of Huiying (Beijing) Technology Inc. from 2015 to 2016. Prior to that, they co-founded Nanjing Topray Medical Technology Co., Ltd. from 2014 to 2015. Ryan also worked as a Ph.D. candidate at Antoni van Leeuwenhoek from 2009 to 2014, where they developed image-guided radiotherapy platforms and reconstruction methods. Ryan Hua gained further research experience as a visiting scholar at UC San Diego in 2013 and the University of Twente from 2008 to 2009, focusing on head pose detection and human media interaction. Ryan's earlier work includes an internship at Microsoft Research Asia in 2007 and leadership roles in Microsoft Technology Club and the Harvard Project for Asian and International Relations.

Ryan Hua Zhang completed their Bachelor's degree in English at Southeast University from 2002 to 2006. Ryan Hua then pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science and Software Engineering from Southeast University from 2006 to 2008. Following that, Ryan obtained their PhD in Medical Physics from the University of Amsterdam, where they studied from 2009 to 2013.
