Betty Yap

Betty Yap is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in corporate law and financial sponsorship. Currently serving as Partner and Global Co-head of the Financial Sponsor Group at Linklaters since January 2022, Betty previously held the position of Managing Partner for the China Practice at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP from May 2016 to December 2021. Additionally, Betty was a Partner at Linklaters from May 2004 to April 2016, during which time also led the China Practice. Academically, Betty Yap is pursuing a Master's degree in LLM at the University of Melbourne, complementing previous Bachelor's degrees in Law (LL.B.) and Commerce (B.Comm) obtained from the same institution.
