Gilan Heshmat Papaekonomou

Gilan Heshmat Papaekonomou holds a diverse range of experience in the fields of health regulations, consultancy, and legal research. Currently serving as an Officer for EU Regulations at EU4HealthSolutions since January 2023 and as an External Consultant and Coordinator for Health Technology Assessment at MedTech Europe since April 2022, Gilan has also participated in several legal apprenticeship programs, including a mini-pupillage at Broadway House Chambers. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Law from the University of East Anglia and ongoing studies in Intellectual Property Law at the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School. Gilan has contributed to research roles at the European Institute of International Relations and International Law and Chamber International, enriching expertise in international trade and EU law.
