Will Liu is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in the derivatives and financial products sector. Currently serving as a Partner at Linklaters since October 2017, Will represents buy and sell-side institutions in the development, structuring, negotiation, and documentation of various financial products, including swaps and derivatives transactions with entities such as hedge funds and municipal entities. Previously held counsel positions at Mayer Brown and Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP, as well as a Special Counsel role at J.P. Morgan, where focus areas included equity derivatives and structured products. Will began a legal career as an Associate at Cadwalader, specializing in municipal and OTC derivatives. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Law degree from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
