Michelle Starks

Michelle Starks, CPA, has over two decades of experience in accounting and finance, currently serving as the Controller at Corda Credit Union since October 2022. Previously, Michelle held the Controller position at Dexter Services from January 2020 to July 2022 and at Bennett Machine & Fabricating, Inc. from February 2018 to January 2020. Michelle began a career in the financial sector at Transamerica Life Insurance Company, where roles included Senior Accountant and Senior Financial Reporting Accountant from November 2011 to February 2018. Earlier experience encompasses Senior Accountant positions at PAETEC Communications Inc. and at Alliant Energy as a Senior Internal Auditor. The career commenced as a Staff Accountant at RSM McGladrey from September 2000 to February 2003. Michelle earned a BS in Accounting from the University of Northern Iowa after studying at The University of Iowa Tippie College of Business.
