Sheldon Flom

Sheldon Flom is the current Vice President of Finance and Operations at Linn-Benton Community College. Sheldon has over fifteen years of experience in leadership roles in finance and administration for higher education institutions.

Sheldon began their career in 2006 as the Interim Vice President of Administrative Services at Northwest College. In this role, they oversaw the college's finances and business operations. Sheldon was later promoted to Vice President of Administrative Services at Western Wyoming Community College, where they served for three years. In this role, they were responsible for the college's budget, procurement, and compliance with NSHE policies and procedures.

In 2015, Sheldon was recruited to serve as the Vice President for Finance and Business Administration at Desert Research Institute. In this role, they oversaw the financial services office, which managed a $48 million budget. Sheldon also represented DRI on the NSHE Business Officer Council and Campus Executive Committee. Sheldon served in this role for four years before being recruited to their current position at Linn-Benton Community College.

Sheldon is a highly respected leader in the field of higher education administration. Sheldon is a member of the President's Senior Leadership Council and has testified at Legislative Budget Hearings. Sheldon is dedicated to their work and committed to ensuring that students have access to quality education.
